About Photo Booth
With Photo Booth, you can take pictures of yourself using your computer's built-in camera or with a digital video camera, such as iSight, connected to your computer. You can apply an effect when you take a picture and use your photos in several ways.
Taking your photo |

It's a snap to take your picture with Photo Booth. Live video from your camera appears at the top of the window so you can set up your shot. Click the Shutter button below the live video to take a photo. You'll see a "three-two-one" countdown, then your display flashes when Photo Booth takes the picture. |
Selecting an effect |

When you take a picture, you can select an effect to apply to the photo. Just click one of the Effects buttons, and then click the effect you want to use. |
Using your pictures |

When you take a picture, it appears as a thumbnail at the bottom of the window. To select how you want to use a picture, click the thumbnail. You can use any picture you've taken as your user account picture or iChat buddy icon. You can also send a photo in an email message from Mail or add it to your iPhoto library.
